Tent Rental Safety
- Before setting up a tent, all underground utilities must be located. This is a free service where they come and locate all underground utilities (to reach Miss Dig, simply dial 811 from your phone).
- Open flames are not permitted underneath tents.
- Tents are considered temporary structures; therefore, in the event of severe weather (tornadoes, high winds and lightening) evacuate the tent immediately!
- In the event of inclement weather, do not try to secure any part of the tent (evacuate the tent). If there is a possibility of inclement weather, it is recommended that you take all sidewalls down. However, if severe weather has already approached, do not try taking the sidewalls down (evacuate the tent immediately).
- Under no circumstances should a customer alter any part of the tent after the tent has been erected.
- Tents should be setup on high ground. In the event of heavy rain, it is extremely dangerous to use electricity where flooding could occur.
